This summer, I had the opportunity to take photos at the Waconia, MN Rodeo. I’ve been itching for an opportunity to do a personal photography project that would give me a chance to work on my documentary photography skills. Specifically, I wanted to document significant moments and create layered images that would tell a story.
My goal was not perfect rodeo photography, but rather to create images that would allow you to experience the rodeo through my eyes.
