I recently had the opportunity to go to Running Aces Casino & Racetrack to photograph and learn all about harness racing. I fell in love with the standardbred horse and have a great deal of respect for those who care for and race these beautiful athletes. I had an AMAZING time making these photos, I have never photographed or even watched harness racing, so this was all new to me!

My friend Stephanie works for the Racing Commission and invited me to come to the track and take some photos. I jumped at the idea because I am continuing to work on my craft and my storytelling skills and this kind of opportunity is perfect for that!
