If you’ve never been to a therapeutic riding program, you are missing out on pure joy! To see how the participants come alive around the horses is an unforgettable experience. 

When I was a wedding photographer my approach was story-driven, which meant that my focus was less on posed images and more on using light, composition and moment to create images that tell a story. When I stopped photographing weddings and put all my energy into equine photography, I put those skills on the back burner for a few years. 

This year, I found great joy in bringing back those skills and marrying them with my equine photography, as I did for Freedom Farm. Look for a lot more of this type of work from me in the future.
